The village of Rufforth is located 4 miles to the west of York and provides quick access to the city centre, as well as Leeds and Harrogate, and there’s also many easily accessible public transport networks close by.

The well-known Knavesmire and York Racecourse are a little over 2 miles from the city and accessed by a delightful walk or cycle along the river.

York railway station offers regular services to major cities including Manchester, Edinburgh and London, with some journeys taking less than 2 hours to Kings Cross. The A64 ring road is about 3 and a half miles from the city centre, providing access to Leeds, the A1(M) and wider motorways.
