Primrose Wood

We take great pride in supporting our surrounding communities, ensuring that each Mulgrave home helps to reinforce the region and are delighted to have joined forces with the Rotary Club of Pocklington in assisting with the expansion of knowledge, encouragement of interest and enhancement of environmental awareness; with a particular focus on Primrose Wood, which adjoins our Barley Folde development.

It is our utmost pleasure to have donated a collection of permanent information boards that can be found at entrance points to the woodland, showcasing the wonderful wildlife which can be spotted within and officially hand over our contribution to the Burnby Hall Gardens and Museums Trust, as well as the ongoing restoration of Primrose Wood, together with the Mayor of Pocklington, Chairman of Greener Pocklington and Presidents of Pocklington Rotary earlier this month.

Wider projects completed so far include tree planting, improvement of access points and installation of bird and bat nesting boxes. With future work envisaged consisting of a wildlife trail and water habitat. We hope that our involvement will be enjoyed by all those curious about the fabulous flora and fauna found here in Yorkshire.
