Pocklington is a small attractive market town ideally located between York and Hull with excellent links to the road network via the A1079. Nestled at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, it offers a wonderful blend of a rural location with a low key lifestyle and the convenience of having a fantastic variety of amenities just on the doorstep. Pocklington has great access to local towns and cities, making it an ideal base for commuters and those wishing to enjoy a mixture of countryside and city life. Just 15 miles east of Pocklington is York, a city steeped in history with an abundance of characterful eateries and a unique shopping scene. The cultural city of Hull is just a 40 minute drive. Whilst the quaint market town of Beverley is just a half an hour drive and there’s a direct bus link. Malton, Yorkshire’s own food capital, is also half an hours’ drive away.
