Transport


The village is just a 3 mile drive from the A61, with York and Leeds both within an hour’s drive.

Harrogate railway station, only 20 minutes (7.7 miles) from Markington, has connections to services to and from London King’s Cross as well as providing direct mainline services to Leeds and York.

Leeds Bradford Airport via B6161 is just a 40 minute (18 miles) drive from the centre of the village.
