Granary Folde is a unique completed development of 24 family homes situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Cloughton, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, near Scarborough.

The development occupies the site of an old farmstead, which was carefully reflected in its design and layout. Natural materials were used throughout, with clay pantiles, slate roofing, stone and timber cladding with timber windows. Details, such as timber cladding, were used to visually soften the buildings and to be in keeping with the types of materials that would have been typical of farmsteads.

The new homes are grouped around small courtyards and shared spaces, to create a sense of community and prevent a typically suburban feel which is typical of many other new developments. Many of the properties offer views of the surrounding open fields and several also offer sea views.
